~ a brief history ~

Berea Tool & Cutter Grinding, Inc. was conceived and built in 1984 by Cleo Hobbs and his wife Ponjetta Hobbs.  While both owners worked at other manufacturers in the southern Madison county Kentucky area.  The owners worked very hard to establish a unique niche business that was needed in the area.  Sadly, Cleo Hobbs past away creating that legacy for this family on August 13, 1998.

Stephanie Hobbs/Parker daughter and Michael Hobbs son became partners with Ponjetta their mother.  Tragically, on August 1. 2004 Michael Hobbs lost his life in a motorcycle accident.  He and his father will always be in our memories.
